I have been doing yoga since I was a child and currently teach pilates class 5 days a week. I needed a good mat, so I decided to give this one a try. So cute, just as described. Colors are true, doesn't smell, happy with purchase. I will probably buy more from this brand. It's keeping its shape do far. Had it for a month and been using it everyday

A beautiful mat - with a small warning. I decided it was time to replace my 11 year old (yes! Eleven!) Gaiam 5mm mat. Not because it was worn, but because the light orange color was really crummy looking, but still in great shape. It will now be my outdoor yoga mat. This mat is GORGEOUS. My only comment is a warning about the "new mat smell". I opened the mat moments before my class and had a hard time holding any pose where my face was on the mat. My mistake. I now have it laying out to air out, and will be spraying the Gaiam mat wash (which smells amazing!) frequently over the next few days. I like the reversible patterns and colors on either side of this lovely mat, and look forward to many years of use.

This will be my fourth yoga mat I have purchased over the years and Gaiam in general is very good investment. Its has proven for me ,to hold up over the test of time and use on all their merch I have purchased so far. This brand does not disappoint. And once again,.... I am very impressed with this double sided beauty! The artistry and design is amazing. And I was in need of a thicker mat to add to my collection. This one delivers the quality and performance I was hoping for. Out of the box yes, it has some plastic odor. But dissipated shortly after purchase with a little airing out. It arrived fast and without any defects or damage. I will report back on how this mat holds up over time. But im sure it will have the same lasting power as all my others from this brand .And the price point for the quality on this one cant be beat. A must have for your yoga gear.

Haven’t used yet, will do a update once used few times. I got to class 3-4 x a week. Beautiful colors and pattern feels very cushiony. Update used couple times The smell is horrific, it smells so toxic I sprayed mine down with mat cleaner, still stinks. It’s very soft, but it’s slippery. I would say it’s worth the price and good beginners mat but I suggest using a towel. Does not roll out flat. The pattern I adore it’s beautiful. Gave 3 stars cause I can’t get smell to go away other wise would have been 4 stars.
